The oldest Buddhist Women’s organization in the United States, the BCSF BWA was established in April 1900. The original BWA helped promote the teachings of Jodo Shinshu and provided support to the Buddhist community. Today, they continue their work in supporting BCSF and its mission statement, as well as, in offering support to our larger outside communities.
